Our Projects
Alegheny County (PRTX) - Pittsburgh, PA
Since late 2023, we have partnered with Allegheny County to design and fabricate a new generation of transit stations for the Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRTX) system. What began with the downtown phase in August of that year has grown into an ongoing contract to reimagine public spaces across the region. Each station is engineered for durability and designed for comfort, offering a range of configurations to suit the unique needs of different transit hubs. From 15-foot shelters to 30 and 60-foot structures, available in traditional one-sided, modern cantilevered, or gull-winged designs.
We believe a transit stop should be more than just a place to wait; it should be a safe, informed, and comfortable environment. That is why every station is fully integrated with essential amenities, including integrated LED lighting for visibility, real-time next-bus arrival screens to keep riders informed, emergency call buttons for direct security access, and 24/7 security camera integration to enhance safety for all passengers. In 2026, we are rolling out the next phase of this project, extending the Uptown to downtown corridor and continuing our commitment to enhancing the Pittsburgh transit network for years to come.
