Spokane Transit Authority (City Line)

Future Systems Inc. was the manufacturer for the custom transit shelters and integrated digital signage for the Spokane Transit Authority's (STA) landmark City Line Bus Rapid Transit project from 2019 to 2022. Our work was a key component of the $65 million station construction package within the overall $92.2 million BRT system.

Our scope included the design, fabrication, and delivery of bespoke passenger interchange shelters for the 6-mile route's 28 stations. We engineered these shelters to accommodate advanced passenger amenities, including real-time bus departure signs, as part of the system's enhanced Phase II construction. This major infrastructure project, designed to provide over 1 million rides annually, established a permanent, high-frequency transit spine through Spokane's core commercial and educational corridors.
