Our Projects
City of Toronto - Parks and Trails - Wayfinding Signage
Future Systems Inc was selected to manufacture and install a city-wide signage system across Toronto’s expansive network of 1,600 public parks and 600-kilometre trail system. This initiative is a key component of the City's coordinated efforts to unify pedestrian, cycling, and vehicle wayfinding. Building on our previous work fabricating and installing the Toronto 360 (TO360) pedestrian system, FSI was entrusted to extend this unified navigation language into the city's green spaces. Working in collaboration with Steer, who developed the extensive standard manual and guideline document, we manufactured signage that ensures a transition between urban environments and parkland. The system utilizes shared iconography and consistent graphic language, helping users locate park entrances, recreational centres, and nearby points of interest with ease. FSI is proud to support this implementation, delivering high quality signs that help residents and visitors navigate Toronto's parks and trails confidently now and for years to come.
